  • What are the PIN / PUK codes and how can I receive mine?

PIN 1 code, is the 4 digit password of your sim card. Everytime you turn on your mobile device, you need to enter your PIN 1 code in order to use your line. This prevents other people from using your mobile phone without your consent. You may change your PIN 1 code from your mobile phone settings. If you fail to enter your PIN 1 number correctly 3 times in a row, your sim card will be blocked. You need to use your PUK 1 code in order to unblock your sim card.

The PUK 1 code, is a special password that unblocks your sim card and allows you to use it again. It is an 8 digit number. PUK1 code cannot be changed. If you fail to enter the code correctly more than 10 times, your sim card will be blocked and ''Card blocked'' message will appear on the screen of your device. In this case, you will need to change your sim card.

PIN 2 code is a 4 digit password that allows you to activate or deactivate some of the security and storage settings of your mobile device. If you fail to enter your PIN 2 code correctly more than three times, your sim card will be blocked temporarily. You may unblock your sim card using the PUK 2 code.

PUK 2 is an 8 digit password that allows you to reuse the blocked PIN 2 code. This password cannot be changed. When the PUK 2 code is permanently blocked, the relevant section of your sim card cannot be used, but the remaining features remain active. In this case, you may change your sim card if you wish.
